2008-09-24 | Late addition to the i.transmit.this EP project
i.transmit.this transmission received [Destructo] (3:01) | 9/20/08 | ambient/jazz
Destructo's rendition of SGX's "i.transmit.this" planned to be included with i.transmit.this EP along with the other remixes done by other artists, but he wasn't able to finish in time. Here it is, better late than never, for free download. The track begins with an atmospheric piano section then evolves into a light jazzy motif with some improv electric guitar. Tasty!

2008-09-15 | Work in progress preview!
I've begun a new song! GASP! Check the preview player on the right side of the SGX homepage. The track is a for-fun remix of that over-used-in-movie-trailers song from Requiem for a Dream.

2008-08-31 | Yay!
We won the genre, and got 35th in the finals. Thanks for voting if you did. You can download the remix here.

2008-08-25 | I'm on ourstage again
Yeap, its that time of the month again (err...). I've got a track on ourstage in the runnings for making mad dollas if you vote for it. I'm pretty sure for the faithful listeners here this ourstage business is wearing thin, especially as I haven't been producing music regularly recently. I've been so extremely busy with the label, moving, life, etc recently but the bulk of that is mostly complete now (except for life...I intend to keep lifing for quite some time). I'm excited to start working on some new stuff, and I will be very soon.

The track this month is something you probably haven't heard yet. Some new SGX? Sort-of! Check out this hot trance remix of my Coactive by remixer Hollidayrain. I'll be adding it for download soon.

Coactive [Hollidayrain Trance Remix], by sgx, Hollidayrain on OurStage

We're currently in the quarterfinals which end end on the 28th. We need to be within the top 10 by then to continue. Then there are two more days of voting to determine the winner of the genre! Check out ourstage.com, make a login, and vote for us in the Club/Dance genre!

2008-08-03 | And here it is! Protagonistrecords.net!!
Yo! I just launched my little record label! This is what I've been working on for a while. Audix has the first release (besides my own music which is on there already) with "One Day Millennium" (how you like that art? Pretty hot, right? I did it!)

I'll be releasing albums for pay and plenty of free mp3's for download from my starting lineup of Destructo, Siamey, Hy Bound, and Audix. I hope you'll participate in the forums (I'll actually be taking down the sgxmusic.com forums and encouraging people to head on over to the SGX forum at protag.)

Finally - I can see myself finding time to actually make some music again! I'm excited! How about you?

2008-07-27 | I've been quiet - but been busy
I know I've been pretty quiet lately. I've got something cool coming along. It has to do with music, but it isn't a new song from me. Stay tuned - if you like my music, I think you'll like this.

And by the way, I've heard that bLiNd is doing much better now! Sweet!

But Underneath All That (7:29) | 5/20/08 | orchestral/industrial
This one sounds like a leftover from Hero of the Grey Area - big crunchy beat, atmospheric pads, orchestral and piano melodies.
